Pets In Cars

How Long Will You Be Gone?

Even five minutes is too long for a pet left in a car on a hot day.  NEVER leave an animal in a parked car in warm weather even for a short time with the windows open.  A car parked in the shade on a 75 degree day can quickly go over 120 degrees inside, that's hot enough to cause a pet to suffer heat stroke, permanent brain damage, and even death.

Of course your pet would like to go with you everywhere, but it is not enjoyable for them to sit in hot car while you run your errands.  It's kinder and safer to leave your pet at home.
